For FHP accommodated guests - Expo 58:

!!! This section is for guests accommodated at Belvedere Hotel only. If you are not accommodated, please, follow the public instructions above. !!!

 

Exclusively for our accommodated guests, we've prepared a little surprise. In order for us not having to drag everyone through Prague's city streets, we've arranged a meeting point before the Outing - on a viewing terrace of the Expo 58 Gallery!

Gallery itself is a world-class monument, listed in UNESCO. Czechoslovakian pavillion at the 1958 Brussels World's Fair (hence the name Expo 58, also Brussels pavillion) was a grand exhibition pavillion, inside of which, a display of after-world-war life in Czechoslovakia was presented - the people living their, their jobs, rest, culture, entertainment and art of this country. It was so succesfull, that after the Fair ended, the pavillion was dismantled and moved to Prague - on this unique spot, seen from far and wide right above the Vltava riverbank. 

 

 

Expo 58 gallery is located on the very edge of Letná orchards, about five minutes on foot from Belvedere Hotel. You cannot miss it - if you exit the Hotel using the Lobby Bar exit and turn right, you will just go straight for as long as you can! In case of uncertainty, our indicators will point you in the right direction. Expo 58's viewing terrace will provide you with a magnificent view over the whole Old Town, giving you a possibility for taking beautiful and unique photos. Our helpers and water carriers will be present as well to help you refresh your energy with bottled water. 

 

 

The viewing terrace will be accessible right after lunch - from 13:30. Time for meeting there will be an hour - until 14:30, at which, we'll begin our organized transfer to the start of the public part of the Halloween Outing. 

The Outing will then lead to the Metronome, where we'll conduct a long break and a group photo will be taken. After that, we'll go back to Letná Castle, where the Outing ends. Don't worry, we won't leave you there - of course we'll lead you back to the Hotel!

 

 

Meeting point rules:

We kindly ask you to follow these rules while on the viewing terrace:

  • Stay only in the viewing terrace area - don't rest on the staircase or enter the Expo 58 gallery, as there will be a public art exhibition taking place simultaneously!
  • Keep your music to a minimum volume as to not disturb the gallery's guests with noise!
  • Under any circumstances, don't enter the grasslands or the flower beds around the Expo 58 gallery!
  • Do not lean or press against the railings on the viewing gallery!
  • Always follow the helpers and organizers instructions!
